Refurbishment Works - Case Study
In August 2008 MSL undertook a major office
refurbishment necessitated by extensive water
damage. Works involved flood damage clearance,
internal decoration, electrical compliance and floor &
ceiling rectification.
On receipt of the client instructions MSL provided a
complete and professional service, providing:
- Fully comprehensive quotations of all works required.
- Risk assessment forms, method statements, site assessment forms and a full programme of works.
- Compliance with CDM regulations and local building controls.
MSL project managed the works throughout, as with
all projects, to ensure that Health and Safety regulations
were adhered to and the works programme was
delivered on time and within the agreed budget.
Disaster Recovery
There are times when however diligent the maintenance plan is, disasters can occur. MSL have teams of engineers available if the unexpected happens and your property becomes unfit for use.

Re-possession Management
MSL offer a service to allow the court bailifs to easily and efficiently repossess properties. The MSL team will change all locks, drain water systems, make all electrics safe and take all meter readings. If items are still in the property after a notice to collect has expired the property will be cleared and any remedial repairs neccessary to make the building fit for auction will be undertaken.
An ongoing house and key sitting service is also available
to make sure the property remains in a fit state whilst
waiting to be sold.
